AFTEFCARE & OINTMENT INSTRUCTIONS

VERY IMPORTANT!!! For the first 24 hours after your procedure, blot the brows once every hour with dry paper towels. This will help remove any excess lymph, blood and pigment that may appear after the procedure.  Blotting is imperative! Do not skip this step.

  • Day 1 (step 1)  Blot the treated area with a clean dry tissue or paper towels for 24 hours, once every hour, yes once every hour.

  • Day 1- 3  (step 2)  Dab the treated area with a clean paper towel, damped in lukewarm water and cetaphil and then pat dry completely with a new dry paper towel.  DRY / NORMAL SKIN: Dab every 3 hours   OILY/COMBO SKIN: Dab every 2 hours

  • Day 1-14  (step 3)  After patting the treatment area dry, completely dry,  apply a thin layer of supplied balm using your clean pinky finger (Dab don’t rub) or qtip.  Be sure to dab into the skin not just your brow hair.   Continue to use the balm during and after your flaking period.  This will ease the itchiness or dryness.

  • Day 15 Wash your face and return to your normal skincare routine avoiding all chemical skincare products; Glycolics, Hydroquonine (Bleaching creams) Retinols, Retinoids and Vitamin C.

Follow these instructions for the duration of your healing process

  • Never touch the procedure area without washing your hands immediately before cleaning the area.

  • Avoid washing your hair for the next 48-72 hours

  • AVOID hot steamy showers, brow makeup, daily cleansing, soap, moisturizer, oil, creams or sunscreen on the treated area for 14 days.  Do not apply any products on or around your brows for 14 days.

  • DO NOT get the treated area wet for the next 14 days unless instructed.  Keep your face out of the direct shower stream. Prolonged exposure to water and steam is not allowed as this will get in the way of healing and retention.  If you get the brows wet, Do not rub to dry them, please pat dry gently with a paper towel only.

  • AVOID swimming pools, sun bathing, tanning beds (no sun or tanning for 30 days), direct sun exposure, sauna, beauty treatments and intense training working out or sweating (sport activities), contact with dirt and dust such as gardening or playing with Animals for the next 14 days.  If you must workout after day 7, clean sweat off treated area with a small amount of Witch Hazel ONLY when needed.

  • DO NOT scrub, rub or pick at the scabs. Allow it to flake off by itself. If it is removed prematurely the pigment underneath it can be pulled out and potential scarring may happen.

  • Do NOT use Retinols, AHA’s, glycolics or other chemical exfoliating products on or around the treated area during the healing process. Avoid using these products two weeks prior to your follow up touch up as well.
