FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO PREPARE FOR YOUR UPCOMING

PERMANENT MAKEUP APPOINTMENT PRE-CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Failing to adhere to these instructions will result in poor results and retention

  • You must be off Accutane or any prescribed acne medications for 1 year, NO EXCEPTIONS.

  • You must NOT be pregnant or nursing, NO EXCEPTIONS

  • Do not take Asprin, Fish Oil, Niacin, Vitamin E and/or Ibuprofen or blood thinners 72 hours prior to your procedure.  If you take blood thinning medication, you must get a letter from the doctor, clearing you of the procedure.  Tylenol is fine.

  • Do not drink coffee, alcohol or energizing drinks on the day before and day of the procedure.  This will minimize any oozing/bleeding or swelling during and after the procedure.  Failing to comply with this will result in poor retention.

  • If you regularly get your brows waxed, threaded or tinted, please do so 1 week prior to your procedure HOWEVER I prefer them to be grown out for better shaping and symmetry at your appointment.

  • Botox around the brow area/forehead must be done at least 2 weeks pre or post appointment.

  • Do not tan or sub bathe 14 days before and after the procedure.

  • Do not have chemical peels, microdermabrasion, mesotherapy or any other intense resurfacing treatments less than 6 weeks pre and post procedure.

  • Do not work out the same day as your appointment

  • Wash your hair before the procedure to ensure proper healing after your procedure.

  • Please come to your appointment with makeup on, including your brows if you fill them in daily- this will give me an idea of what you are used.

 â€‹LIP BLUSH CLIENTS

  • Whether you are prone to Cold sores or not, you MUST  start an anti-viral vitamin such as L-Lysine 1000mg (sold over the counter) or if you regularly get prescribed for your cold sores like Valtrex please start your meds 5 days prior to your scheduled appointment.

  • Please exfoliate and moisturize your lips starting 3 days prior to your scheduled appointment.  If you come to our appointment with chapped flaky lips you will cause trauma to your lips and the color retention will be poor.  If your lips are too dry or chapped, we will reschedule your appointment causing you to forfeit your deposit.  A new deposit will be required for you new scheduled appointment.

  • Lip Fillers must be done at least 2 months prior to your scheduled appointment.
